Category I Projects

If the health information project is not proposed to be Hopkins branded, it is a Category I project.

Category I projects do not involve branding with the Hopkins name, logo, likenesses, and/or marks.

Examples: 
Articles authored by Hopkins faculty that are not in publications branded with the Hopkins name.

Guidelines
1. Conduct in accordance with applicable institutional policies:

• policies on authorship
• conflict of commitment and conflict of interest
• intellectual property
• institutional endorsement

2. Follow applicable policies of the outside publisher or sponsor; e.g., the editorial policies of a journal
